Gujarat Board 12th Result 2020: Girls Outperformed In 12th, See Results

GSEB HSC Results 2020: The result has been slightly delayed this year.  This is due to a lockdown carried out across the country to prevent the coronavirus epidemic.


 Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board has released the result of 12th class general stream today.  Last year, the Gujarat Board released the 12th result on May 10.  Gujarat Board 12th result was done on Monday, 15 June at 6.00 am.

 The board has released the result in online mode only.  GSEB 12th class results are available on the gseb.org website.  Students can check their results by entering their roll number and other details on this website.  Students can also check the result by clicking on the link given below.



 Girls once again won
 This time again girls have cleared the 12th class exam of Gujarat Board.  The pass percentage of girls is 82.20 percent while that of boys is 70.97 percent.  This year, about 12.23 percent more girls have passed.

 According to the available data, 41,113 students have failed in one subject this year.  24,147 in two subjects and 12,060 in three subjects have failed.  A total of 3.72 lakh students had appeared for the 12th class general stream, out of which 2.84 lakh students have been successful.  According to the education department, the Sony examination center at Banaskantha has secured the highest pass percentage of 97.76 per cent, while the Dolasa examination center at Girsomnath has the lowest pass percentage of 30.123 per cent.  Talking about the districts, Patan has achieved the highest pass percentage of 86.67 percent this year while Junagadh has the lowest 58.26 percent.

 According to board officials, around 2,730 students were caught through CCTV during the board exams this year.  There were 1,332 cases of copying in 2017, 1,468 cases in 2016 and 5,162 cases in 2015.
